Paintings are a time I’m listening to my inner creative heart on a different level, one that combines my love of the desert, nature, art, music, and life. When I paint, these elements all come together.
I was first inspired by the desert from Georgia O’Keefe's incredible modern artwork. After graduating from the School of Arts Institute in Chicago, I moved to the Arizona deserts to begin my own creative journey. To this day, the desert captivates and inspires me. Every morning, I hike the Arizona desert with my dogs and my sketchbook; drawing her, feeling her, dreaming, and recreating her into my own vision.
