Loralei McNichols Lazurek is currently conducting a special edition art project with clients that documents their intimate, family moments in a series of 3-5 shoots spanning 1-3 years.
This one-of-a-kind portraiture style captures special, authentic moments with an artistic eye. The Art Book Series is shot in black and white and makes stunning, large-print fine artwork for the home.

"I met Loralei after moving to Arizona from the East coast. I started out with a family portrait in the Sonoran desert, which I didn’t realize would start a long-lasting relationship. The quality, lighting and attention to detail that went into the images were best in class. She has since taken several family portraits over the years, including extended family shoots when I had close to 20 people visiting Arizona. She has done a personal branding shoot to celebrate a milestone birthday, as well an art book series for my family. Most recently, I am working with Lorelei to curate art for my home as she collaborates with an interior designer. A: Ideally, families will choose to do multiple shoots for up to 3 years to create a complete art book that displays a growing family.
A single-day shoot may be selected for those looking for a smaller art book.
A: The 'Art Book' series can be created over 1-3 years, with 3-6 shoots depending on the package purchased. Please get in touch with us for details of pricing and packages.
To create a powerful Art Book for your family is to show the authenticity of your family over time. These shoots capture your family living their lives in their story and history for the future.
A: Black and white photography provide a specific artistic style that fits this series perfectly; however, the 'Art Book' series can be shot in black and white and color.
A: After each shoot, you'll select your top images, and House of Loralei Studio will begin to craft your Art Book story. The number of sessions chosen for your package will determine the final number of images included in your personalized Art Book.
A: Sessions locations take place where ever your story should be told. For many families, this includes your home, out for a hike on your family's favorite trail, at a favorite activity or sporting event, a birthday party or special celebration, even on vacation to create those truly stunning images.
A: Everyone is welcome; immediate family, extended family, friends, completely up to you! Whoever needs to be there to tell your family's authentic story.
A: Yes, after each shoot, you will meet with Loralei to select your favorites and may purchase any photo products or large prints to decorate your home.
